Bush Regeneration: What You Need to Know

Hello, my name is Bob and this is my bush regeneration blog. Until a couple of years ago, I didn't know a thing about bush regeneration. All that changed when I purchased some land located near Alice Springs. I moved my family out to our new house and started work on the place to turn it into our dream home. Once I had fixed up the house itself, I turned my attention to the surrounding land. I called in an environmental consultant who gave me plenty of advice about how I could regenerate the bush land which surrounded my home. I hope you like my blog.

Emerging and Interesting Fire Extinguishing Technologies

Evelyn Horton

Since its discovery, fire has become a significant part of human life. In fact, fire mastery enabled prehistoric people to thrive on earth. However, despite the many benefits, an out-of-control flame can be a catastrophe at home or the workplace. Luckily, contemporary society has developed powerful fire extinguishing inventions to help fight dangerous furnaces. The fire extinguisher epitomises how technology has continued to help develop firefighting equipment. Today, there is a plethora of ingenious fire extinguishers that improve the effectiveness of the traditional model. Here are some of the emerging technologies in fire extinguishers.

Fire Extinguishing Ball

One of the most captivating fire extinguishers to be developed in recent years is the fire extinguishing ball. Notably, the fire ball looks like an oversized candy, complete with its wrapper, from a distance. However, its effectiveness comes alive when thrown inside a flame because it responds in seconds by opening up and dousing the flame with fire retardant chemicals. The primary purpose of the chemicals is to remove oxygen from the air surrounding a fire, depriving it of a fuel source. One of the many benefits of a fire ball extinguisher over the traditional model is its self-detonating capability. It means that it can put out a fire even when no one is at home or in the office. Moreover, the new-age fire extinguisher does not require annual inspection like the traditional version. Instead, you hang it on a wall in your office and rest easy.

Soundwave Fire Extinguisher

Another invention in the fire extinguisher market is the soundwave fire extinguisher. As its name implies, the sound wave fire extinguisher uses no chemicals or water to put out a fire. Instead, the ingenious fire extinguisher uses bass frequencies to extinguish flames. Fundamentally, a soundwave fire extinguisher relies on a portable subwoofer gun to shoot sound frequencies towards a fire. Focusing the bass frequencies helps create a wave vortex, generating pressure that separates oxygen molecules from the blaze.

Fire Gun Extinguisher

When you first look at this fire extinguisher model, you will be forgiven for thinking it is a gun out of a paintball shooting range. The fire gun extinguisher shoots a proprietary abrasive material that can create a hole through concrete or steel in seconds. A fire fighting crew can use the extinguisher's remote system to switch from the abrasive material to water. Placing the extinguisher's nozzle on the hole created by the abrasive material allows firefighting crews to shoot water under very high pressure inside a burning building. The process distributes a fine mist that lowers the air temperature inside a structure, allowing firefighting crews to go in safely.
